Comprehensive Warranties for Plus Aero Wheelsets

PLUS AERO WHEELSETS option 1: Lifetime Warranty (With Annual Inspection & Service) 1

We offer a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects for the original owner, provided the wheels are inspected and serviced once per year by an approved PLUS service partner at the rider’s expense.

What’s covered:

Manufacturing defects in carbon rims, hubs, and spokes
Structural issues not caused by crash damage or misuse
Material and workmanship faults under normal riding conditions

Annual service must include:

Full wheel truing and tension balancing
Hub and bearing inspection
Carbon spoke and nipple check
Updated service record submitted to PLUS

If the rider meets the annual service requirement, the warranty remains valid for life. Miss a year? No problem — the warranty defaults to the 2-year policy (see below).

PLUS AERO WHEELSETS Option 2: 2-Year Limited Warranty (No Annual Service Required) 1

If the annual service is not performed, the wheels are still covered by our standard 2-year limited warranty from the date of original purchase.

What’s covered:

Same manufacturing defects as above
Normal use, under intended riding conditions

Not covered:

Damage due to crashes, misuse, poor maintenance, or third-party service errors
Cosmetic wear and tear
Improper installation of tires, brake pads, or drivetrain components

Crash Replacement Policy

Regardless of warranty status, PLUS offers a crash replacement program to keep riders rolling. If your wheels are damaged in a crash, we’ll offer a significant discount on a replacement set or rim — even if it’s outside warranty.

What’s Required to Claim Warranty

Original proof of purchase
Valid service record (for lifetime coverage)
Wheels must be unmodified and used as intended (e.g. road wheels not used for gravel or MTB)

This policy balances performance, accountability, and long-term value — rewarding riders who take care of their gear without punishing those who just want peace of mind.
